Inside Look Into The Wedding Menu Of The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex

The public could not get enough of Prince Harry and Meghan that many are still talking about their wedding which happened almost a year ago. We already know about the dress Meghan wore and the happenings during the church wedding but many do not know about the details of the reception as it was not shown to the public. Even the best wedding caterer in Sydney is curious to know the wedding menu served during the Royal couple’s reception.

According to reports, the couple hired Table Talk, top wedding caterer in the United Kingdom and also a royal favorite.  They are the same caterers who served during the wedding of Prince William and Kate eight years ago as well as the Kate’s sister’s wedding.

There are two receptions during the wedding day. The first one was a general reception held at Windsor at noontime hosted by the Queen while the second one is an evening reception which was hosted by Prince Charles and Camilla in the Frogmore House.

During the luncheon, it was revealed that the menu is lighter than the evening reception. The guests were able to enjoy the following – Grilled English Asparagus wrapped in Cumbrian Ham, Heritage Tomato and Basil Tartare with Balsamic Pearls, Scottish Langoustines wrapped in Smoked Salmon with Citrus Crème Fraiche, Garden Pea Panna Cotta with Quail Eggs and Lemon Verbena, Warm Asparagus Spears with Mozzarella and Sun-Blush Tomatoes, Poached Free Range Chicken bound in a Lightly Spiced Yoghurt with Roasted Apricot and Croquette of Confit Windsor Lamb, Roasted Vegetables and Shallot Jam.

There are also more filling options that were passed around to guests such as Ten Hour Slow Roasted Windsor Pork Belly with Apple Compote and Crackling, Fricassee of Free Range Chicken with Morel Mushrooms and Young Leeks and Pea and Mint Risotto with Pea Shoots, Truffle Oil and Parmesan Crisps. According to the top wedding caterer in Sydney, many couples tried to copy the menu during the Royal couple’s wedding. There are also those that followed other aspects of the wedding such as the wedding dress worn by the Duchess of Sussex and even the hairstyle.
